The Leica SL3 is a Mirrorless Digital Camera with a Full-Frame sensor and a Leica L lens mount. Its 60 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 100-100000 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 50-100000. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in very low-light. With 60 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to 40" x 26" at 240 DPI.
A builtin 5-Axis Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Leica SL3 to compensate for camera shake up to 5-Stops beyond hand-holding with any mounted lens.
This camera features a hybrid shutter that can expose for 1/16000 to 1h. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/16000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.
The Leica SL3 features a 315-point Phase-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. A Real-Time Autofocus Tracking System allows focus to follow a moving subject within the frame. Manual Focus is also available.
Dual controls-dials offer direct access to most exposure parameters which makes this digital camera suitable for advanced photographers. The weatherproof construction of this digital camera protects it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. This particular model is also freezeproof down to -10C. Framing on the Leica SL3 is performed via a 0.50" Built-in EVF with 5.8 Megapixels. This extra large EVF has 0.76X magnification and shows 100% coverage.
