Digital Camera Description

The Fujifilm Finepix XP50 is a Ultra-Compact Digital Camera with a 1/2.3" sensor. Its 14 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 100-3200 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 100-3200. With 14 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to at 240 DPI.

A builtin Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Fujifilm Finepix XP50 to compensate for camera shake.

This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/2000 to 4s. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/2000, fast action can easily be frozen. Given that is does not support very slow shutter-speeds, this camera is unsuitable for night photography.

Fujifilm Finepix XP50

The Fujifilm Finepix XP50 features a Contrast-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. A Real-Time Autofocus Tracking System allows focus to follow a moving subject within the frame.

The Fujifilm Finepix XP50 is waterproof to a 5 meter depth. The weatherproof construction of this digital camera protects it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. This particular model is also freezeproof down to -10C. There is no viewfinder on the Fujifilm Finepix XP50 and no provision to add one.
