The Canon Powershot G5 X is a Compact Digital Camera with a 1" sensor. Its 20 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 125-12800 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 125-12800. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in relatively low-light. With 20 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to 23" x 15" at 240 DPI.
A builtin Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Canon Powershot G5 X to compensate for camera shake.
This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/2000 to 30s. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/2000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.
The Canon Powershot G5 X features a 31-point Contrast-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. Manual Focus is also available.
Rare triple control-dials are featured on this digital camera, giving the efficient direct control over every exposure-parameter needed by professional photographers. This camera does not feature any seals to protect it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Care must be taken, just like with most electronics. Framing on the Canon Powershot G5 X is performed via a Built-in EVF with 2.4 Megapixels. This EVF shows 100% coverage.
