The Canon Powershot D10 is a Compact Digital Camera with a 1/2.3" sensor. Its 12 Megapixels CCD sensor offers an ISO 80-1600 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 80-1600. With 12 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to 17" x 12" at 240 DPI.
A builtin Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Canon Powershot D10 to compensate for camera shake.
This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/1500 to 15s. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/1500, fast action cannot be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability.
The Canon Powershot D10 features a Contrast-Detect AF system.
The Canon Powershot D10 is waterproof to a 10 meter depth. The weatherproof construction of this digital camera protects it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. This particular model is also freezeproof down to -10C. There is no viewfinder on the Canon Powershot D10 and no provision to add one.
