Digital Camera Description

The Canon Powershot A495 is a Compact Digital Camera with a 1/2.3" sensor. Its 10 Megapixels CCD sensor offers an ISO 80-1600 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 80-1600. With 10 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to at 240 DPI.

This camera features a mechanic shutter that can expose for 1/2000 to 15s. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/2000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability.

The Canon Powershot A495 features a 9-point Contrast-Detect AF system.

This camera does not feature any seals to protect it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. Care must be taken, just like with most electronics. There is no viewfinder on the Canon Powershot A495 and no provision to add one.
