Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 II Lens
The Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 II is a normal prime designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This ultra-bright prime has a 50mm focal-length.
This prime can focus down to 45cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.15X. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Canon to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.
This lens is only available for Canon EF. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Canon EF mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors.
