Lens Description

The Canon EF-S 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6 IS is a wide to super telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.6X) sensor. This variable-aperture zoom covers a 18mm to 200mm focal-range. It provides the same field of view as a 28.8-320mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. An optical Image Stabilization System built into this lens compensates for camera shake.

This zoom can focus down to 45cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.24X. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Canon to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.

This lens is only available for Canon EF. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Canon EF mount cameras with APS-C (1.6X) sensors.
