Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm F/1.4 II Lens
The Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm F/1.4 II is a normal prime designed for cameras with a Four-Thirds (2X) sensor. This ultra-bright prime has a 25mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 50mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. The body of this lens is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. It has sealing to prevent entry of water and dust.
This prime can focus down to 30cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.11X. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Panasonic to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.
This lens is only available for Micro Four-Thirds. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Micro Four-Thirds mount cameras.
