Lens Description

The Nikkor 1 AW 11-27.5mm F/3.5-5.6 is a wide to short telephoto zoom designed for cameras with a Nikon 1 (2.7X) sensor. This variable-aperture zoom covers a 11mm to 27.5mm focal-range. It provides the same field of view as a 29.7-74.25mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. The body of this lens is waterproof and allows it to be submerged when mounted on a waterproof camera body.

This zoom can focus down to 30cm from the imaging plane. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Nikkor to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.

This lens is only available for Nikon 1. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Nikon 1 mount cameras.
