The Olympus C7070 has a lot going for it, excellent color, accurate exposure, low-noise, spectacular battery life, great construction and a wide-angle 4X optical zoom lens. Its flaws are few, with slowness and poor low-light focusing being the worst ones. The awkward menu system seems to be also one of Olympus' tradition. The 7 megapixel sensor used in the C7070 has been applauded for its performance in other models as well, such as the excellent Canon Powershot G6. Another annoyance of the C7070 is that its panorama mode is only available on Olympus branded xD cards. Too bad because the C7070 also used cheaper compact flash cards.
