Along with their flagship Coolpix P510, Nikon launched the Coolpix L810, an all-new ultra-zoom with an exceptionally wide 22.5 - 585 mm lens which gives an extremely versatile 26X optical zoom range. This lens is paired with a 16 MP CCD sensor that is capable of 720p HD video capture with stereo sound.
This digital camera is fully automatic except for white-balance which has a custom setting. The L810 has a large 3" LCD with 920K pixels for framing. It also runs on standard AA batteries which gives it a class-leading battery-life of 740 shots per charge.
This ultra-zoom will be available later this month for $280 CDN or USD.
