The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 is compared to the Olympus OM-D E-M5
Olympus OM-D E-M5, the top-performing Micro Four-Thirds camera to date. These are 100% unmodified crops from their respective cameras. Each camera was calibrated to produce the highest quality JPEG image possible. Aperture, ISO and WB were set on camera.

The Panasonic shows a good performance but lags being the E-M5 by about one stop in terms of noise. It shows less local contrast due to a different tone curve and while neither camera gets colors right, the E-M5 is closer to reality. |
