The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III is compared to its predecessor, the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II
Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II, which sports the same imaging sensor. The Mark III though acquired the latest TruePic IX processor. All images below are 100% unmodified crops from their respective cameras. Aperture, white-balance and ISO were set on the camera, the remaining settings were left on automatic.

While increasing resolution 25%, Olympus managed to reduce image-noise by 2/3 of the stop for the E-M1 Mark III compared to the original E-M1. Default saturation and contrast have been visibly boosted but those can be changed in-camera. Sensor dynamic-range is roughly the same.
