Lens Description

The Sony Zeiss Planar T* 50mm F/1.4 ZA SSM is a normal prime designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor. This ultra-bright prime has a 50mm focal-length.

This prime can focus down to 45cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.14X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A Super-Sonic motor inside the lens delivers very fast and relatively quiet AF.

This lens is only available for Sony A. Follow this link for all current compatible digital cameras: Sony A mount cameras with Full-Frame or smaller sensors.
