Lens Description

The Fujifilm Fujinon XF16 F/2.8R WR is a wide prime designed for cameras with APS-C (1.5X) sensors. This bright prime has a 16mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 24mm lens on a Full-Frame camera. The body of this lens is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. It has sealing to prevent entry of water and dust.

This prime is capable of focusing down to 17cm from the imaging plane which gives it a maximum magnification of 0.13X. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Fujifilm to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.

This lens is only available for Fujifilm X. Follow this link to see all current compatible digital cameras: Fujifilm X mount cameras with APS-C (1.5X) or larger sensor.
