This is a decent camera but it does nothing outstanding when compared to its competition. The Canon A520 has a larger zoom (4X) and will beat the S90 in every respect except for speed. Even the Fuji Finepix E550 produces much better pictures, has better manual controls and is even faster. The manual controls of the Sony S90 are limited and difficult to operate due to its poor menu system. Considering its price and the fact that Memory-Sticks are significantly more expensive than equivalent SD and CF cards, the competing models just mentioned provide much better value.
