The Pentax K10D was tested using a Sigma 24-135 F2.8-4.5 lens. The images below show the performance of the Pentax K10D on under artifical light at each ISO sensitivity. These are all 100% crops from full-resolution images taken at night using aperture priority, preset white-balance and set ISO sensitivity.

The images below demonstrate how good the Pentax K10D performs for bright subjects, even under artificial light. Overall, noise levels are extremely low. Altough some noise is noticeable at ISO 800, it is very subtle and is unlikely to be a problem. At ISO 1600, noise is sufficiently strong to be visible in prints larger than 12"x18". Colors are very natural here because white-balance was preset to tungsten. Using automatic white-balance, the K10D tends to leave an overly warm color cast.
