Images below are all unmodified 100% crops from the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX30 at each of its selectable ISO sensitivity. Exposure and white-balance was set on automatic. All the daytime pictures were taken outdoor in sequence within a few seconds.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX30
ISO 100 - 1/1000s F3.2
ISO 200 - 1/250s F9
ISO 400 - 1/400s F9
ISO 800 - 1/800s F9
Image noise is present at all ISO but it is not too intrusive until ISO 400. Since this is a bright scene, this is actually a best-cast situation for the FX30. Under low-light and in shadow areas, noise is much more noticeable.
Below is a night shot comparison between the Panasonic FX30 and the Fuji F10. This test could only be performed at ISO 100 because the Panasonic FX30 locks the ISO in its night-scenery and stary-sky modes that are required to access shutter-speeds longer than 1 second. Obviously from these night crops, the F10 produces a much cleaner and smoother image than the FX30.
