This ultra-zoom camera from Konica-Minolta turns in an impressive performance for its price. While several competing models offer longer zoom and stabilization, this model stands out with its very accurate colors, low-noise (below ISO 200), excellent battery life and comprehensive feature set. Other ultra-zoom cameras to consider are the Panasonic Lumix FZ5, the Konica-Minolta Dimage Z5 and the Konica-Minolta Dimage Z6 which are all more expensive but offer better lenses.
