Autofocus LensLens Description
The Tokina AT-X M100 AF Pro D is a short telephoto prime designed for cameras with a APS-C (1.6X) sensor. This bright prime has a 100mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 160mm lens on a Full-Frame camera.
This prime lens focuses down to 30cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 1X magnification. The high manification of the Tokina AT-X M100 AF Pro D allows it perform true macro photography. The lens supports autofocus and features a switch to disengage AF for focusing manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Tokina to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.
The lens weighs 540g.
This version of the lens has a Canon EF mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Canon EF mount cameras with APS-C (1.6X) sensors. Tokina also makes this lens for Sony A and Nikon F mounts.
