Pentax Optio WP Assessment

Being the only current waterproof ultra-compact camera on the market, the Optio WP does not have any competition. Other than its waterproof body, it seems like a fairly typical ultra-compact camera. This camera does produce images with above average noise and shows below average battery life. On the other hand, it focuses better and is more full-featured than most cameras in its class.

For an in-depth look at the Pentax Optio WP, see our full-review which concentrates on handling and usability.
